WORKING WITH MEN AND THEIR IMAGE
DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY
In 2001 I started using digital imagery as a background for my drawing. This work almost immediately became deeply entrenched with dialogue. Rich with story and action some of the work is tender, and at this point please note the definitions for the words are my own.
Using a razor blade I draw and write into the surfaces. I use cleanser and erase, darken and lighten the surfaces with as much control as when I drag and scratch the surface of the photograph across the floor.
